His wife, Jessie, died in the Broughty Ferry area in 1945. Newspaper death notice only mentions her late husband and her late father. Two infant deaths in 1890 that may have been children of this couple. Three other possible births to the couple too, in 1888, 1891 and 1896 being a George (looks to have married an Alexandra Kyd in 1917), Catherine (died 1966, married surname Stevenson) and Eliza (died 1919), with Eliza possibly named after the Eliza who died in 1890.

Above chap looks to have been same George Calvert McGonigal. Newspapers mention only his wife, and that they moved to SA in 1947.

For checking:

Possibly a daughter, Kathleen Kydd McGonigal born 1922, died Glasgow area in 1993, and possible married surname Dickson. Marriage in 1946 to a Hugh Monet Dickson (died 2012, in Paisley area).
