Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Leading Aircraftman - Frank Walter Barbery - Royal Air Force (Auxiliary) Air Force.  Service No :- 851435 - buried Lapworth St Marys Churchyard.  Died 7/6/1941  - aged 50 years.

Frank Walter Barbery of Harborough House, Warwick Road, Lapworth, Warwickshire died 7 June 1941 at Hatton Mental Hospital, Hatton, Warwickshire Administration Birmingham 18 August 1941 to Mary Elizabeth Barbery widow. His widow Mary, married a William Hodges in 1948.

The private memorial marking the grave of Leading Aircraftman Barbery no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

Son of Isaac Barbery (1854 - 1926) and Kate Tailby (185? - 1948) who were married in 1875 at St. George Hanover Square, London. Frank's father, who was butler at Woodcote House, Leek Wootton, does not appear on any census forms with his mother.
