Date of picture from costumes of Buckie Children
« on: Saturday 25 February 23 15:58 GMT (UK) »
Hi again
After the success that GR2 and jim1 gave me with my Buckie photos I attach another puzzle. Any idea of date from the clothing fashions?
thanks
Jim

By the 1870s sailor suits were one of the most popular styles for boys up to 12 or 13 and even older ages on the Continent

I know you didn't ask for a touch-up.
But I had to try with those cute faces

Are the left and right girls, sisters/twins?

Those boys don't look as if they're enjoying being photographed  :D

Thanks for all the input. I don't know who they are except they are in my Grandmothers photo album so must be family of some sort. Agree two girls at the back look like twins and the boys are probably same family because they look alike. Think they are UK pics though lots of relations emigrated around 1905-1910.
