I'm trying to find any records associated with the parents of Ronald Norman Welch born 11 Oct 1932 Ontario, Canada, died 26 Nov 2015 Cranbrook, BC, Canada.
In Family Search, I created him as Person ID LTG8-PTG Ronald Norman Welch.
The only sources I've found for him are his FindaGrave and BillionGraves entries (where a brief biography is posted).
His parents' names were Nelson and Lois Welch, and they lived on a farm possibly around St Thomas, Ontario area. Their mailing address was a Rural Route. At some point in their lives, maybe around 1970, they owned (or maybe just managed) some cabins on Lake Timiskaming.
Ronald Norman Welch had a first marriage with a woman. I forget her real forename, but it was unusual, long, and biblical, and she went by the name Jane. I don't know if she is still alive, although their five (?) children most likely are living in BC and Ontario.
He was a musician in the Canadian Army, stationed at Camp Petawawa, Ontario, with his family around late 1950's and very early 1960's. Later, around 1970's, he was in the reserves (in Vancouver, BC).
Around 1962, Ronald Norman Welch left that family and moved to Vancouver, BC, with his future second wife (who was also married) Irene May Hastings (born Julier) 1925-2022. They married on a New Year's Eve in Vancouver as soon as both divorces were final in the mid-1960's. They were living in a house they owned on Berkeley Street, which they sold in 1968. They went to England for a year around 1968, and bought a house in Surrey, BC, upon their return.
Around 1977, his second divorce was finalized in Surrey, BC.
It's possible he had a third marriage (post-1980). (I say this because he used to have a ladyfriend named Sonya and he died in Cranbrook, BC--there is a Sonya Welch listed there in the white pages.)
With the above clues, can anyone find information (birth/death/parents) on the parents of Ronald Norman Welch?
