I am hoping someone can help me. I am looking for a record of a marriage between William Frederick Skeggs and Ella or Elia Barsanti in Dalzeil in 1943.

You can view a digital image of the certificate at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, which is pay-per-view but modestly priced.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Kigi, the bride is showing as Ella on the index. As Forfarian mentions, you can download the image as it is outside of the period where it has to be ordered.

Thank you. I had this marriage from someone else's tree but without evidence.
