Does anyone have a data base for Brits who had children baptised/registered in Jamaica during the above period?

Have you looked on FamilySearch?

I have found several births that are possibly linked to my family; on FamilySearch;  but it only gives the father's name and not the mothers in all instances.  The father's name is consistent with my records but I cannot be sure until I see the mothers name.

It's a shame when mother's name is not recorded. I think there are Jamaican records on FindMyPast, but they might not give you more information.

Very welcome to have this information on Jamaica.  Thank you so much.  Will take me a while to go thru it all but it seems very comprehensive and will be a huge help with my research.  :)
