Does his marriage cert give any fathers name?

Where did you get his full birthplace details - 1901 just says Antrim & occ is cloth inspector - not weaver

Is this Joseph in the 1901 census:

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Ballymena_and_Town_and_Urban_District_of_Ballymena/Waring_Street/925211/

Son William’s marriage:

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1894/10558/5846286.pdf

William was evidently living in Glasgow at that time. William & family in 1901:

As Heywood says, it would be helpful to know what you already know and what it is you are looking for.

I posted a link to the marriage and census and son’s marriage has also been posted.
What other information have you found?
Do you have any other children besides William?

https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
You should be able to find births etc at this site to 1921 or thereabouts.

Are you trying to go back, though, rather than forward?
Where did you find Joseph’s birth details?

Your family perhaps?

Do you have William Spence’s marriage? I wondered if this is him - spouse Nancy Moffatt

Looks good, heywood  ;)
Married in the same church as Joseph 23 years later - Grange (of Ballyscullion) Presbyterian Church.
As were Elizabeth (1873) and James (1872).
