Hi - I am trying to research my husbands family tree - the McFaulls. Research so far has a James McFall - Farmer - married to an Eliza Wallace and having at least four children - Robert Faulds born circa 1847 married Eliza Smith died 1909. Daniel McFaull circa 1848-1896. George McFall born circa 1854 died 1929 married Margaret Steen and Charles McFaull born circa 1854 died 1929 married Catherine Kelly. All seemed to move to Glasgow- hence why I have found records but all state were born in Ireland. I would love to find birth records of all four children but am also trying desperately to prove a link between two DNA matches who have a James McFall farmer marrying a Mary O'Keon/Kane. Their records show this couple had children William 1827, John 1832, Mary Ann 1834, James 1835 and Campbell 1843. The dates allow the possibility that James married twice but try as I have for years I cannot find Marys death certificate or a marriage between James and Eliza perhaps stating he was a widower. If anyone can locate these it would be amazing. The dates imply that if both events happened it would be between 1843 -1847.
