In addition to the possible death for Frances that Trish1120 found, there is a death in Alfriston for a Frances Snelling in 1814,the same place where Josephs death was registered.Given that they might not have married,i wondered about that. The birth is given as 1726 or 1731.That said,i cant find a local birth for a Frances Snelling in that timeframe.Only one in Surrey in 1733,and no Frances/Snelling marriages that would fit,in case she was married before. The death doesnt say if she was a widow or spinster.I wondered if anyone has any thoughts on that.

Hi
Here's her burial. Abode Lewes. Age 83.

Well, there's an administration at Lewes in 1814 for Frances Snelling, widow.
Granted to David Stone, her brother and next of kin.
So, sadly, I guess it isn't your Frances.

What was going on in Alfriston?
Last burial on that image, Mildred Reed, 24.
And a note underneath about a rumour going round that Mildred had been buried alive!

Thanks for that.At least i can eliminate her.I just thought it might be worth looking at Frances born around 1730 who died close to where Joseph was buried, but there wasnt much, apart from this one.Back to the drawing board.
