Do you think it would be best to take 1845 as her birth year from this as being the most reliable as it was recorded in 1911?   Also what is your opinion on the changes in birth years and birthplaces between all 1861 / 1871/ 1881 etc?    Thanks for all your help it’s very much appreciated

This looks to be her burial Joanna Bexon age 66 Died 3 Oct 1911 Burial 16 Oct 1911 St Winefride Shepshead (Roman Catholic).

I've looked at England Roman Catholic Parish Baptisms but haven't found one for Jane/Joanna Hill 

As previously mentioned I think to confirm her father Thomas’ occupation you need her marriage certificate and then you can be certain and either rule father Thomas Hill occ Groom 'in or out'

I have Henry Bexon who was born in Shepshed, Leicestershire in 1841 his parents were John & Mary

He married his first wife in 1859 Hannah Blackwell.  She died in 1872 then he went on to marry his 2nd wife Jane Hill who was born in 1858.

Not sure if you have Henry's first marriage so posting details just in case

I’m local to St Winifrides church I’m
Just checking to see if they have a list of burials and if she’s in the church yard.   I’ve located Henry’s gravestone in the local cemetery and have the plot so I’ll go and check for a tombstone.     I am going to look for his first wife’s grave too.

  I did have the details for his first wife and think I’ve seen her details in the local cemetery listing too.

   Thanks very much for all your help.  I will try and find a online copy of Henry and Janes marriage to check for fathers profession.

No I don’t think so I have Henry as being born 1835 and baptised 3rd April 1836 at the same time as his sister Hannah Bexon?  Their mothers maiden name was Mary Bramley
