Edward Wolfe c1745

The Philimore registers for Cambridgeshire have a marriage record for Edward Wolfe.

Dry Drayton - Edward Wolfe, w, of Madingley, and Rebecca Nichols 18 Oct 1773.
The record indicates that Edward was previously married.

Can anyone see a birth/Bap for Edward.?

Unfortunately I cannot find a birth in Cambridgeshire. The only one I can find is 1746 in Plymouth, Devon - Edward Wolf baptised 1 February 1746 parents Nicolas and Elizabeth.

There is a burial for a Susanna Wolfe in Madingley 15 June 1772

Also the baptisms of two children in Madingley with parents Edward and Susannah

Ann 11 February 1770
Edward 11 June 1771

No sign so far of an Edward/Susannah marriage.

I've found the Edward /Susannah marriage  - 30 Nov 1768 Edward Woolf & Susannah Page.

I can't see the births of Ann 1770 or Edward 1771. Where were they baptised?

First of all my apologies - the boy is called Edmund and not Edward. They were baptised in Madingley and the information came from a transcription from Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire FHS

Thank you.
I found a marriage in Cambridge - Edward Wolfe married Mercy Moakes 1743

Between 1745 and 1758 there were 6 bapt recorded at Dry Drayton, all father Edward and two included the mother, Mercy.  Mary, Thomas, Martha, William, John and Robert. ... but no Edward???

Is it unusual for a family NOT to name one son after the father?
