Looking at Mary age in 1851 census could it be age 51?  Not 31

Original bapt for Ishmael has her parents as Beynion (note spelling) & Elizabeth Jones

If she was born around 1820 she was 14  when Johnathan born not impossible but is it likely?

Also the bapts of her 2 children have her married.

What do you think Gadget?

I've just been looking at it  and it is transcribed as 51 but the original is a bit iffy. I'd say it is 51.
I've enclose a snip of the two above and Mary.

Another two possible baptisms for Mary  in Llansanffraid Glyn Ceiriog

16 March 1800
Mary  d of Humphrey and Anne of Penllwyn

11 April 1800
Mary d of Edward  Bank??and Sarah of Bank?? Llwynwawr

Not very confident of either.  I'll look with a bigger date range.

I've taken it back to +/-5 but that only turns up  Edward and Sarah again.  Will check  the N-C.

 :-\

Add -nothing showing. A bpt for a Mary Ann, d of John and Mary in Llangollen Methodist but no date!

Wow ! Thank you so much Gadget and Cas.   I’d seen Jonathan’s Wesleyan baptism.  There’s another the next day in the church … could it be a belt and braces job.   I haven’t got home yet so only the phone at the moment, I’ll review and get back to you.   My husband is thrilled at what I found out . He’ll be extremely happy when I show your results to him.    Thank you again .  Will be back tomorrow

This is a definite possibility as she is living next door to an Ishmael Jones born 1837 in King Street which could well be her son.   By 1891 King Street is full of Jones' related to us and their descendants continued to live there until at least the 1950's.  My father in law and his siblings lost their mother early and the two youngest were sent to live within the extended family in King Street!

Tree is up !

Thank you both so much for your amazing help.   I'm still going with your other information.

Modified to say - your local knowledge is invaluable Gadget, my husband remembers a lot but they left Ruabon for Wrexham when he was 9 or 10.   Do you remember the clay works on Newbridge Rd between Pentre and Cefn on the B5605; the family business was based there after it closed.  They were coal merchants and hauliers.  D H Jones....   His mother's family were Ling's who had Victory Garage in Ruabon.
