Wanda Irena Pawlak was born in Motherwell in 1943. She is also indexed as Tedeschi, so the parents were not married.

Peter Pawlak married Margaret Tedeschi in Motherwell in 1946. Margaret is also indexed as Margaret Hepburn Clark, so that gives a clue to her previous marriage.

Was just about to post re that middle name.  A tree on Ancestry says Margaret Hepburn Clark was b Motherwell 1909 to parents John & May nee Mann

She married Peter Matthew Pollock & had one son and one daughter.   Death of husband Peter Matthew Pollock(1911–1986)  25 Mar 1986 • San Clemente, Orange, California, USA

1.  No birth 1909 for a Margaret Hepburn Clark/Clarke
2.  No marriage for a John Clark/Clarke to a May Mann
3.  No birth for a Peter Matthew Pollock 1908-1912 (Could Pollock be Pawlak?) 
4.  No remarriage or death for a Margaret Hepburn Pawlak or Pollock with a mmn Mann

Their son Renato was born 1936 in Motherwell

Almo is interned for a short time during WW2

Wanda Irena is born 1943 and registered under the names Tedeschi and Pawlak

Newspaper report December 1944 has Almo Tedeschi (Fish Restauranter) being assaulted in local hotel by Victor Pawlak.

1946 Margaret is a divorcee and marries Peter Pawlak

1947 Peter and Margaret are invited to royal wedding

1948 they have a son Peter John Pawlak

1948 Margaret wins £1537 on Littlewoods Pools

1955 Peter Pawlak is granted a divorce from Margaret (Address unknown)

Don't know if it helps but I believe Tedesco and Tedeschi are ITALIAN for ' The German/s '
A while back there was a large firm selling ceramic tiles ( probably imported from Italy ) called Tedesco Tiles, I think they had a branch in Kilmarnock.

On the church marriage/blessing record it gives Almo's parents as Antonio Tedeschi and Mariana Baldini.

Antonio Tedeschi from this family died in London 11-3-1994. The London papers say his grandfather started an ice cream business in Motherwell in 1890. Antonio's branch of the family moved to London - first Battersea, then Fulham, before settling in Acton in 1935. "Tony Bros." had their factory at Greenock Street, South Acton. There are several articles about the business over the years.
