Another possibility might be this one, born in 1919
GRANT, DONALD  JAMES
Mother's Maiden Surname: FRANCIS
GRO Reference: 1919  D Quarter in WEST HAM  Volume 04A  Page 41

He might have had a twin brother Maxwell (same GRO birth details) who died the following year.
So the parents seem to be Maxwell Grant and Ann Caroline Francis, who married in Woolwich in 1902.

Did Maxwell remarry to Lilian Warner in Woolwich in 1930?

And could Lilian be the mother of Iris?
WARNER, IRIS  MARY
Mother's Maiden Surname: SIMPSON
GRO Reference: 1921  J Quarter in WEST HAM  Volume 04A  Page 430

Marriage, Dec 1915 West Ham 4a 1031
Frederick A Warner + Lilian Simpson

Death, Dec 1927 West Ham 4a 91
Warner, Frederick Alexander
Age 45

From the free index to 1921, somewhere in West Ham, we have
Frederick Warner, born 1883, Hoxton, London
Lily Warner, born 1895, West Ham, Essex
Noreen Warner, born 1915, West Ham, Essex
Lily Warner, born 1917, West Ham, Essex
Iris Warner, born 1921, West Ham, Essex

There is a birth of a Frederick Alexander Warner in Shoreditch in 1882.

And a redacted entry

Electoral registers show them at 8 Winchcomb Gardens, SE9

If there is any truth in this idea :-\ it would make Donald and Iris step brother and sister?

On the 1945 electoral register, she is still at 8 Winchcomb Gardens, SE9, with a Warner!
