Likely date of re-call for service in WW2
« on: Saturday 11 March 23 16:01 GMT (UK) »
If a soldier served from 1932 and was then discharged to the reserve in July 1939, when would he have been [likely to be] recalled to the colours, please?  Would the Army have waited until war was actually declared (i.e. 3 Sept 1939) or would it have been earlier than that?

Thanks in advance
STG
