1851 Census Lookup Please - COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 07 September 05 22:23 BST (UK) »
I'm not holding out much hope of success, however I would be very grateful indeed if some kind soul could please look up Henry Blackwell in the Cheshire 1851 census for me.

In the 1861 census his son James place of birth in 1852 is given as Birkenhead, Cheshire. The reason I am not optimistic is that this is the only census that says this. All the subsequent census give different places each time!

Anyway, Henry Blackwell should give his occupation as Stone Cutter, Stone Mason or similar. His wife's name may be Mary, but then again she could be his second wife.

Any help most welcome.

Thank you

Amy

Hi Amy

Sorry no luck finding the family in Birkenhead, according to the http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk/ there were only two births for a James registered around the right timeframe so I checked them out and not the right family.

Cant win em all

Thanks for trying Peter. Like I said, I wasn't too hopeful but it would have been nice! This family are turning out to be a real headache!

Many Thanks and Best Wishes
