If you look at the Ysbyty Ifan baptisms for the late 1830s and 1840/early 1841 the abodes suddenly show more than just "Llan". I've seen "Tynewid Llan", "Gegyn Llan", "Gegin-fach Llan" and these can be found under "Tir Ifan, village of Yspytty" on the '41 Census.

Hi, all,

A big thank you for your input and research; it is greatly appreciated. It looks like 'Llan' is likely the area of the village itself. I will keep searching on this but as a hypothesis it seems a pretty good place to search further from.
