Cannot find a marriage in Kent

Been searching everywhere but cannot find a

Marriage for a Nicholas GREEN & Mary @1802 probably Lydd, Kent

He was bap 3.8.1786 Lydd to Nicholas & Mary (nee Finn) m 1783 Lydd. No more can be found about Nicholas jnr except he might have m a Mary ? & had 4 kids - Harriott, Edward, Gatherine & James, all bap Lydd between 1803-1807

Father & son were called Nicholas & both possibly m a Mary, - but who was Mary jnr?

None of the web sites appear to name her or the m date/place or any further info about them

My only other thought is that Nicholas & Mary Finn may have had these 4 kids in addition to their own 10, making 14 in total from 1784-1807 & that Nicholas jnr didn't marry of anything else, ie he was just another child, though he totally disappears, compared to his siblings

Any assistance would be helpful

FreeReg have the child baptised 3 August 1786 as John GREEN, not Nicholas.  Have you seen the parish register?

Nicholas and Mary don't have a child named Nicholas according to FreeReg. It looks like this first John died and the next child was also called John (bap 23 Nov 1787). FreeReg doesn't appear to have any burial records for this parish at this time.

Also of note, in 1849 William GREEN dies aged 56 - he is described as "third son of the late Mr N. Green, Lydd".
02 June 1849 - Canterbury Journal, Kentish Times and Farmers' Gazette  (and various other papers)

FamilySearch have the 1786 child as Nicholas, so one of them has transcribed it incorrectly.

If we accept that Nicholas & Mary had 14 children, the question is whether the 2nd child was called Nicholas or John, depending on whether you accept FreeReg or Family Search - it doesn't sound unreasonable to name one of your children by your own name & your wife's name - v common in the early days, as we know. Either way there doesn't appear to be a record for a Nicholas death or a John death, which I would have expected

3 children I have been unable to find details for are Ann, Mary & Harriet. Can you assist?

England Births & Baptisms 1538-1975 , which are transcribed records only , has the following :

Nicholas GREEN son of Nicholas & Mary GREEN 3 Aug 1786.

Looking at the Register image on FindMyPast the baptism at Lydd on 3 Aug 1786 is of John GREEN son of Nicholas & Mary GREEN.
