George Beech birth date

Hi good afternoon, I wonder if anyone could help me find the actual birth date of George Beech ( mother Jane Salt),his birth was registered at  Cannock in the first quarter of 1877, born 1876,which I would assume would be December(I think it’s the 18th).
His birth would have been in the Great Wyrley/ Cheslyn Hay/ Cannock area.
I would be grateful of any help

A tree on Ancestry has it as 18.12.1876.  Tree mentions the 1939 register so that is presumably where they got it from

If he married Margaret Ann then his birth date is recorded as 18.12.1876 in war register.
