Anfield Cemetery burial - Watson
« on: Friday 17 March 23 17:45 GMT (UK) »
I have a burial of a William Watson 7 Jul 1881 at Anfield Cemetery CE Section 4 grave 734.

According to the burial register the order number is 48797, however in the order book it is not so. The order book shows the burial as 49413, which I found after trawling through Familysearch.

I have attached the order book entry as I am confused by the notation on the left hand page. Can anyone enlighten me?

Also is it possible to find out who is buried in that grave - there is no headstone, I have looked - as I am trying to find William's wife Jane Watson? Unfortunately I cannot find a death record for her.

Any guidance would be most appreciated.

I think it could be an abbreviation of ‘Executor’ - ‘Exor’ … maybe?
