All censuses are available free on www.familysearch.org

https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list?cqs=england+census

No marriage on either Scotlands People or freebmd to a Henry Condell & you will find her birth on SP in 1828 - not 1827 - surname MacLeod  - not McLeod

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
www.freebmd.org.uk

The Harriet Condell who died in Liverpool 1897 was b 1832 and 1891 shows her birthplace as Stornaway.  Shown as widowed in both 1881 & 1891 censuses.  Buried at Toxteth Park Cemetary 20.6.1897

1861 shows one son aged 11 - Henry William - his birth is on freebmd 1849.  1861 has surname transcribed as Condele

Re her father Malcolm. Would think his occupation came from a transcript? More likely to be Seaman.

We've looked family search but doesn't show a detailed description of census as England ones..

The only place to view original images for Scotland is www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

FreeCen is very good on the Scottish censuses for the earlier years and worth checking there. Family Search did used to have indexes to the Scottish censuses but no longer due to copyright issues that arose some years ago.
