LEWIS R Crawford

Hello. Can someone help,? i have not much to go on i am trying to search for Lewis R Crawford for a relative and all we have to go on is the following. Lewis R. Crawford was a Canadian and in June quarter 1942 he married Exor .L Worrall at Sheffield She was originall from Wales born Hengoed, Glamorgan 1919. Her father was William Worrall and her mother was Mary Ann Worrall (2nd marriage).
I was given some information about her on here, she sailed to Canada on the Aquitania in 1946, it seems that the marriage did not last long and they were divorced. Any information on Lewis r Crawford would be much appreciated.

Do you have a copy of the 1942 marriage certificate?  That should, hopefully, supply an age for Lewis, and the name of his father, and also help to trace him in Canada.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

There was a New Brunswick Marriage 1 June 1949
Lewis Reginald Crawford - a labourer - was 33 years old - divorced - father Fred Crawford.

married to Evaline Cora Virden - aged 33 years - also divorced. Father Thomas L Hansen.

perhaps he could have then remarried to Martha ????

There was a young man born in Fredricton 1969 who was a son of Lewis and Martha Crawford.
Young man became an author.

The child may still be alive (b 1943) so his name needs to be removed from your post

The passenger record for Exor shows her address in Canada as that of her mother in law Mrs E Kinney
