Ivy Arduina Wilby b. 1905

In need of help please. Hoping to find information on the husband of Ivy Wilby.
She married 1926 in Croydon to John R Weatherstone.  It’s highly likely he died before 1939 as Ivy remarried in 1939 to M. Brown.  I found a couple of deaths which could be him but it’s all guesswork until I find more info on John.

Wow thanks everyone. I am doing this for friend and we only assumed he died didn’t consider divorce , yes that’s them , her unusual second name helps.

19 May 1939 - Chatham News - Chatham, Kent, England

In the Divorce Court on Thursday of last week Mr. Justice Langton had before him a petition by Mrs. Ivy A. Weatherstone, of Jefferson-road, Sheerness, for a decree of divorce against her husband, Mr. John Robert Weatherstone, on grounds of his adultery. The suit was undefended. The marriage was in August, 1926, and there are two children. Petitioner’s case was that the marriage was unhappy. After a quarrel in September, 1935, petitioner left her husband and had  never lived with him since. Later, as the result of inquiries, she now charged her husband with adultery, an affiliation order being made against him at Dartford in 1937. Petitioner gave evidence, and her witness was Mr. H. A. Cross, assistant clerk to the Dartford Justices, who made an affiliation order against the respondent. His Lordship granted a decree nisi with costs.....
