Good morning folks
Beautiful bright morning, nice to see the sun so early, wasn't very nice yesterday.

I am off out to meet a friend  for a mooch and lunch out, no idea where we are going  but it will be nice to be out  and about.

Can't believe it will soon be April.

Enjoy  your day folks

Morning LM hope you have a lovely day.
It's sunny here today but very frosty and cold. Last week of school term here,  so the last week of grandchildren looking after/ collecting/ feeding/ taking to swimming and beavers for a bit! Wouldn't have it any other way, but the school holidays are nice and I usually get a bit of genealogy done in the holidays lol.

Yes, bright and sunny here too this morning.

No plans as such, not enough washing for a load unless son has some ,a lovely day for “pegging out”ie putting washing on the line.

I think cheese and onion pie for tea ,so will weigh ingredients ,make and chill the pastry, ,soften the onion ,peel potatoes and cut caulie and  broccoli into florets, grate cheese,  so not much to do later , and the mess is out of the
way .
Waiting for breakfast, now I know I must not have thyroxine at the same time. How I have survived all these years is a mystery  ::)

Nice to get to Church yesterday , another lady, has worse eye troubles than I have, has lost sight in one eye ,was our Ladies’s ’Group  leader for many years  and very good she was too..Now with a white stick and a patch on the damaged eye.
I felt truly sad for her.
Our new Minister is” inclusive” — asks questions and invites answers during his sermon.
He has three churches to run , St.Paul’s,St,Andrew’s, St.Philip’s ,there was St John’s but that has closed  due to dwindling congregations and dry rot !

Parcel arrived for son.
A good likeness of Churchill, he has collected a good number of Churchill medals and had then framed , wants to display them together.
His grandma got he and his brother the first medals , and he has added to them .
It was  C hurchill’s funeral the day we went to Belgium I think or he died then,January 1965. I must look it up .
It had been arranged a while before Churchill died and had already been changed once as our furniture etc had been lost in transit.

Hope everyone is alright .
Cheerio,Viktoria.

Yes! First time this year I managed to get a load of washing pegged out - or rather OH pegged it - after a fashion - under my instructions. Men! Only took twice as long as if I'd been able to reach up and manage it myself.....

I agree - I have a way I like things pegged out but husband doesn’t ‘get it’ .

I hang things out in a certain  way,  force  of habit, I cringe if everytime husband has had need to peg put for me  but I don't  complain,  he might not do it again.

Has anybody else received a new passport?

I was checking mine and noticed a few anomalies :D

Front cover says: British Passport, and then Isle of Man underneath the coat-of-arms.
Page 1 says much the same.
However, Page 2 (the page with photo and data) says British Islands - Isle of Man. (Which is what was on the cover of the expired passport)

Inside Front Cover says: Her Britannic Majesty's Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man Requests and requires in the name of Her Majesty . . .  .

I do hope Passport Control in other countries are understanding!
