I was led to believe that the above married Charles Britt Compton Q4 1911 at Camberwell and had 3 children with him 1912-1914.
However on checking the 1921 England Census, it shows Charles Britt Compton and 2 different children as well as 1 original, Felix born Dec1914 in Winchester and they all lived in Winchester. Charles' wife was recorded as Joan Mary aged 35y 7m born Hastings?

I wonder if Alice F changed her name to Joan M or whether I've been misled?

I think she went by the name Joan. on 1939 register she's listed as Joan A F (Alice Florence?) Britt-Compton living with her son Denis. But her birth reg is Alice Florence Breach.

I can also see two more children for Alice and Charles: Peter 1919 and Margaret 1924.
