I am looking for the marriage of Alexander Coates and Susanna McLean.According to the 1911 census,they married in 1890.I have looked on Irish Genealogy for marriage.I can find everything about them except marriage certificate.I also looked at church records,no success.IN 1892 their eldest son was born and baptised in St Thomas church,they did move around a bit.Can anyone help withthis,thank you in advance,tom

In 1901, Alexander gives his birthplace as Kilcock.

There is a Fold3 record (pay site) for:

And another with no date which shows Leicester regiment.

Thank you for your help.I have looked at the marriage of william jnr. and maud lowe.It is interesting that in some births,marriages,that Alexander is known as Alexander Grant Coates.Thank you for the info on Alexanders war record.Father and son were both in the army.An interesting man who had several jobs and he moved around a bit.Once again thank you for your help.tom
