Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pvt Thomas Charles Hunter - Yorkshire Regiment - service no 42539 - buried
Halesowen Cemetery, Halesowen, Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, West Midlands.
Thomas served with the 8th Bn.The Yorkshire Regiment under Service No:42539, transferred under Service No: 502054 to the Labour Corps.

He was previously commemorated on the Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial.

He was 19 and the son of Mrs. Hannah Hunter of 131 Haden Hill, Old Hill, Staffs.

The private memorial marking the grave of Pvt Hunter no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark the grave of Pvt Hunter.
