1851 lookup please Aldenham

Looking for Humphrey(s) - any spelling.

In 1841 Thomas 53 and wife Ann 56 were in Coldicote Hill with son Charles, 20.

In 1861 Charles was still there, now with wife called Ann.

Would be very grateful for any sighting of this family, especially Thomas and Ann, in 1851.

Thank you.

Hi pwhh,

By way of another bonus, on my recent visit to HALS I found the following two burials in the Aldenham PRs.

15 Mar 1857  Thomas Humphrey of Coldicote Hill Age 69
24 Jun 1860   Ann Humphrey of Coldicote Hill Age 76

Unfortunately I was unable to find the marriage of Charles and Ann at Aldenham or Gt.Gaddesden during the period 1837 and 1850.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for the extra information.

These burials, together with the name of the mother-in-law, give me the proof I had been looking for (for a long time!) that this is a different branch of the Humphrey family, although their 1841 entry looked promising.

However, every family ruled out is still a step forward!

Many thanks for your help.
