Ketley Deaths

I looked up the deaths of Thomas and Mary Ellis from Ketley, but no details on FindMyPast Thomas 1859 and Mary 1842. I wondered if there are details from another scource? Thanks

Mary Ellis died 22 September 1842, buried Ketley 25 September 1842 aged 46

The only Thomas Ellis burial I can find in Ketley is for an 8 month old child. Do you have approximate birth dates/age at death?

Both of the above burials were found on FindMyPast.

Thanks, not the ones i was hoping for, It looks like they both moved away after their last child was born in 1794. Ketley is the only place where both come from the same area.

If their last child was b 1794  they must have been born in approx 1760 - 1770 so by 1859 Thomas would have been in his late 80's at least.

No. There is a Thomas from 1821 but dont think its the right one

Theres no sign of them or the last born Thomas by 1821

Given their birthyears - It’s far more likely they died before 1841

Freebmd has 4 x Thomas Ellis deaths in Shropshire in 1859.  2 were infants & the others were 56 & 72
