James Allen born c 1844 Birmingham
« on: Thursday 06 April 23 10:07 BST (UK) »
Good Morning
Trying this one for a friend
She has a James Allen puddler born 1844 living in Wednesbury.
The censuses there give his birthplace as Birmingham
While his marriage to Mary Eliza Webb 28 Feb 1869 at Wednesbury St John gives his father as James Allen fishmonger.
All lovely ,except no sigh of a James Allen fishmonger.
Can anyone find the key for this Allen?

Thank you for that Trish
I've managed to find the name of some of those parents .
James Allen and Sarah Phillips but he's a coral carver
Thomas Allen and Ann Taylor
James Allen and Ann Fosten married Radford and returned there with son James.
James Allen and Fanny Tennent married 23.10.1831 St Martins  ,but he's a bookseller
And I just don't know

Maybe he was a fictitious fishmonger.

Charlotte matches a daughter of James the bookseller and Fanny! Very confusing
