Great minds think alike!  I can't find any children for Patrick and Sarah using all the spelling variations that I can think of and can't find them together after 1871.  Some of Sarah's siblings seem to have ended up in Middlesbrough.

"Filkn" - I thought it might start with an 'S' - Sarah CONWAY/McCARTIN was from the townland of Sultan.

The trouble with the Irish is that you can't rely on them to register births in England so if Elizabeth and Thomas are her children they may not be registered.

Hi Meg, Maria Heath born 1885 married Ernest Arthur Andrews in 1901 Middlesborough. They appear together in 1911 census with 3 children. Also on this record are her brother Edward Heath and 2 Cross children who are niece and nephew.

Ernest Arthur died during ww1 and Maria remarried George W Thompson in 1918 Middlesborough. They appear together in 1921 census with her children from 1st marriage plus a new daughter born 1921. Another daughter was born 1923. Maria and George with one daughter on 1939 war register. This daughter married a Mr McLinn and she can be followed having children and death.

Believe this to be Marias death

Maria Thompson
abt 1885   Oct 1964   Oct-Nov-Dec   Middlesbrough   Yorkshire North Riding

Iv'e spent some time trying to look for Edward after 1911 census but not having a lot of luck.
