New York City Chancery Records

Does anyone know how to find an index of all cases in the court of chancery for New York City.  And if that exists, the best way to pull them?  I’ve had some success in the past with the state archives but I can’t recall how I found a particular case.

Ancestry have this database New York State, Card Index to Supreme Court and Court of Chancery Documents, 1684-1848

Thanks Monica.  I don't have a lot of faith in the ancestry index as I've come across references to cases in the court of chancery in newspapers with no hits for the names in that index.  There is probably something within the NYS archives site but I'm probably not using it in the optimal way.

I was looking at their website https://iarchives.nysed.gov/xtf/view?docId=ead/findingaids/JN120.xml;chunk.id=fullfalink;brand=default  Just couldn't see a search online option!
