I am seeking please any information about Thomas John ROSS (born about 1820 in Nova Scotia, Canada) & his wife Margaret FRASER (born about 1825 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada). I believe they married at Halifax in the early 1840s. The couple then migrated to Mauritius, where they had a son William, born 14th April, 1844. Thomas was employed in the sugar cane industry in Mauritius. Thomas died in Mauritius in 1854. I would love to hear from other descendants as well as any people who also follow the ROSS & FRASER genealogies too. Perhaps there are even photographs surviving of these people?
