If he married in Scotland the marriage will be on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk which is a pay per view site but index is free to search

No George Quinn/Quin marriage to a Cummins

There are 3 Cumming(s) / Quinn marriages in Lanarkshire but christian names are not George

Have you found him on the 1911 Scottish census?  When were the children born?

1911 Scottish census is available on Scotlands People via purchase of credits

Where did you get his wife's surname from?  How do you know he married in Glasgow?

Per SP - There is a George Quinn death in Provan in 1947 aged 74 - is that his death?   Have you downloaded a copy of his death cert which should show his wifes name?

The information was given to me by a grandniece and grandnephew who were very vague.
Am trying to build up a picture of the whole family of that generation.
He was not at home in Donegal in 1901 and 1911.
His birth is from the civil registration

Supposing he married between the ages of 18 and 54 years (16 was the legal age here in Scotland)

There are eleven possible marriages for George Quin(n) in Glasgow between 1891 and 1926.
None of them married a lady with the surname Cunning(s).
It would be a matter of spending a few £££ on Scotlandspeople and, by trial and error, eliminating them one by one. I would begin with the inner-city districts first and then work my way out to the Pollokshields and Shettleston ones.
Paterson, Torrance, Gilchrist - Hamilton Lanarkshire.
McCallum - Oban, McKechnie - Ross of Mull Argyll.
Scrim - Perthshire.
Liddell - Polmont,
Binnie - Muiravonside Stirlingshire.
Curran, McCafferty, Stevenson, McCue - Co Donegal
Gibbons, Weldon - Co Mayo.
Devlin - Co Tyrone.
Leonard - County Donegal & Glasgow.

ADDED: I have realised that I am focused on brother John rather than George. Sorry!
