1881 Census Daniel Herring born Lowdham 1816
« on: Monday 10 April 23 12:56 BST (UK) »
Hello

I am searching for Daniel Herring born 1816 Lowdham, Nottingham.  His wife Ann born 1815 Cropwell Bishop/Radcliffe Nottingham on 1881 census.

I have all other census. Daniel and Ann age 55 in 1871 living Bulcote Nottm
In 1891 Daniel is a widow living in Heanor
(I am also unable to find a death for Ann Herring)
Daniel died 1908

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi

I did see this one on Family search but is shows age as 55 when he should be 65?? Could be a transcribing error maybe.

Thanks for your help

Son Thomas b Lowdham married Jane Buxton in 1880? That marriage is under Herring & that's who Daniel is living with in 1881.  In 1891 he is with married daughter Hannah.

1861 census shows both children so looks like age 55 is an error on the original 1881 entry
