William Lightbourne married Olive Belle Johnson nee' Roberts

Her first husband was Florian Maxwell Johnson circa 1869 died 17 October 1918 Miami.
They must have divorced.
Find a Grave has children/relatives as A. K. Johnson, William Roger Lightborune, Myrtle Shook.

---------

There are frequent trips showing Olive and son William R Lightbourne going back and forth to the Bahamas.

William R Lightbourne gives DOB as 27 May 1913  Tampa Florida.

ADDED
Since they made frequent trips back to the Bahamas maybe the marriages took place there and not in Florida

Carole as a Bahamas citizen he would have needed naturalization in USA if he stayed there...

I probably shouldn’t be commenting as I’ve not thoroughly read this thread (and it is late here, perhaps I’m not understanding), and perhaps I’ve read the above comment incorrectly (quite likely)  ;) but
My family and I moved to America when I was young.  I am still a Canadian citizen. Unless one wants to become an American citizen or American citizenship is needed for a particular job, one does not need to be naturalized in order to live in America.
But, again, perhaps I’ve misunderstood the remark?

…William lightbourne date of arrival 1886 naturalization 1886

I could be incorrect, but I believe in most cases, one had to live in America for a period of time before going through the naturalization process.

My apologies if I’ve misinterpreted comments.

Lisa : applications were made and granted after several years residency so there are often 2 documents ..the original application with names of sponsors name and birth date and place of wife and children
And the final certificate

William lightbourne s
Father was Paul

Eileen : The maiden name of mother Adeline is mistranscribed. she was SUMNER

Thanks for posting the refs I'm not very good at searching on ancestry or familysearch

but once I have details can look at the original documents
