Thoughts arising from the following info.
Robert had three sisters already in U.S in Philadelphia,
Maggie,b1888,Annie b1890 and Ethel b 1906.
Maggie married Hugh Wasson in 1914,and with 4 children visited N Ireland in 1923,They returned home on  15 Sept 1923,but travelled by Quebec, taking Ethel with them.Ethel stayed in  Canada until 9 Feb 1924 when she crossed at Buffalo.Could it be Robert decided to join his sisters in Philadelphia as well.why would they travel by Quebec?
Thoughts please

It was cheaper to travel through Quebec than direct to the US so many people coming across would come this route.

I'm not finding reference to Robert in Pennsylvania at all but it would seem he didn't stay in the same area as the McCrea family. Either went further west or went south.

1931 Census to be released on June 1st. Not sure how long til we see it online, but will take longer to be indexed.

Assume you have all the info about the three sisters in Philadelphia and have not found Robert with them at all.

Hi All
Having spoken to a family member, they suggest that Robert returned from Canada and resided at Killymoon St,Cookstown,Co Tyrone.
He was a cattle dealer and farmer.
Confirmation of a return journey  would be helpful.
Thanks again

If he arrived back in the UK prior to 1960, those records are available on Ancestry; however, I'm not finding a match. You might check for a death entry on GRONI.
