This has certainly been a mystery.  I have been trying from time to time to make progress with
the missing husband of Fanny.
Maybe I am on the trail - fingers crossed.

Halvor Lier born 1901 - died 1961 Francois Lake British Columbia (aged 60 years)
Informant was his wife - Hedwig Solveig Martinson/Lier

I think the mother (Hedvig) remarried to Lawrence George Perks.  This is the obit for Lawrence 1913 - 2005
Mentions his step-children and siblings of "H"

Probably born in Aker, Akershus, Norway.
Family first migrated to the US, her father was naturalized in Pennsylvania but very soon after moved to Alberta with the land grants.
