John McCarthy and Ellen Deasy Rosscarbery

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some help to locate the family of John McCarthy and Ellen Deasy they are my 2nd Great Grand Aunt and Uncle. I have located their marriage record and the baptisms of their 7 children.

John McCarthy and Ellen Deasy married 12 Feb 1861 Rossalettiri and Kilkeraunmor (Rosscarbery) no civil registration so no parents names. I know Ellen Deasy is the daughter of Michael Deasy and Ellen Donovan of Cregg, Kilfaughnabeg, Cork, Ireland. I do not have parents for John McCarthy though.

John McCarthy 28 Jan 1874 Ardagh, Rosscarbery
Honora McCarthy 6 May 1877 Cross Rock, Rosscarbery

The civil registrations can be found on www.irishgenealogy.com use the last name CARTHY marriage for John McCarthy and Ellen Deasy can be found on same site in CHURCH RECORDS. I included the witnesses for the first child Mary McCarthy because the witnesses are my Great Great Grandparents which is how I confirmed this was the correct family, Ellen and Patrick are siblings.

This is as far as I got cannot find marriages, passenger lists, census etc I am at a dead stop, hoping some more eyes on the problem might catch something I missed. Any and all help is appreciated!
