this death reg certainly looks very possible

NB though this all looks very likely, that probate record for Thomas William may produce confirmation if you can identify the name of the administrator as one of his children.

As ever this was a joint effort from lots of people and though it all looks very likely we can only offer possibilities from what we can see in the records. You'd need to check it out carefully and find a way to confirm it.

Rob, I've just noticed from your profile that you are based in Cumbria.

If a local to you library has old newspapers on microfilm or even hard copies, there may be a death notice for Thomas William - you have the date of death from the Probate Calendar so if you can access newspapers for the area its worth looking though day by day for a week or so to see if there was one. That could confirm all this if it mentions family and may well tell you where and when he was buried/cremated.
I tried the available online papers but the time frame/area isn't online yet
