Good to be able to get an appointment like that but it's a ridiculous situation for people who are feeling very ill and not fit enough to queue at the surgery. No easy solution of course as the problem is that the NHS needs more GPs. Many are now working part-time and much as I'm in favour of women GPs, the younger ones may well go on maternity leave which further reduces the number available. And of course a lot of doctors retire earlier these days,
