Joseph/Guiseppe Sedenary/Sedanari
« on: Tuesday 18 April 23 08:20 BST (UK) »
Hi,

this is my first post after reading an old thread about Joseph Sedenary.

I have come to a dead end, does anyone have any information about this man's place of birth and his parents? He was possibly born 1757 or 1777.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards

PatsyF

Welcome to Rootschat Patsy  :D

I think this will be a tough one to sort out.

I can find a marriage for a Joseph Sedenary to an Ann Stears on 24 April 1803 at St. Marylebone, London.

This is presumably a descendant of the one you are trying to trace.

The surname sounds Italian.  Have you tried looking at Italian family history sites to see if anything comes up there?

Hi Girl Guide,

Thanks for your reply and welcome.

I have looked at Italian sites, but it seems the Place of Birth is needed to get anywhere. I have no information on him other than his marriage and offspring. He is my great, great, great grandfather, and I was hoping to find as much Italian family history as I could.

I will keep trying  :)
