Searching for BEST FAMILY.... Ships to and from Queensland of family movements.
William Henry Best married Dorothy Charlton in 1874 in England.
They embarked from Plymouth. 1881 with two children - Catherine born 1875; and Horace born 1880, and thought to have returned to England at some time later.
Where they settled in Queensland?
Did William Henry Best stay as a wine and fruit merchant as he was in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England?
What happened to family members?

Any help to locate any details gratefully appreciated. Thank you.   :)

Have you checked Queensland BDMs?
There are two births 1892 and 1894 (district not given) - parents William Henry Best and Dorothy Charlton

Queensland BDMs has the death of a William Henry Best, date of birth 1850, parents Agnes Coop and Thomas Best

No family members mentioned in death notice to link him to "your" William Henry but year of birth (1850) on BDM entry would appear to fit?

The 1851 Census has a Thomas Charlton and Jane A Charlton at Sunderland. By 1861 Jane A is a widow and the household includes a Dorothy Charlton, age 5, born Sunderland. She is a good fit for the Dorothy Best on the 1881 Census and the Queensland BDM death registration, 1900 (age not given).
