I am looking to find out anything at all about this woman's history.

Joan Burlye married 29 July 1576 in Ardingly John Comber (Rivers alias Cumber)

I can't find a birth.

She was apparently his second wife, his first wife being Eleanor Robbins.  So she may have been a widow when she married him. There is no indication in the marriage entry of her status.

She had died by 1600 but no sign of a burial for her in the Ardingly PR.
