Eleanor (Elinor) from marriage cert is with parents 1861 - Piece 4134, Folio 63, Page number 1
Llanarthney. Father Thomas, mother Anne. Address Typica. No children with her.

There is a possible death for first wife in 1861 census if it is them.

THOMAS, MARY age 25
GRO Reference: 1862  S Quarter in NEWCASTLE IN EMLYN  Volume 11B  Page 20

Number of marriages for same names, but if both from Abergwilly possibly married there.

There are only 4 marriages registered from 1862 to 1866 David to Eleanor - 2 Lampeter - 1 Llandilofawr -1 Carmarthen, the last one 1865 is the marriage posted in reply #16

Thanks Carole.  Info needs confirming, not sure if Roy wants to persue that through certs.

Sorry, only just come back to this. Lots of very useful leads, more than enough to be going on with at the moment. It would be nice to know who William Thomases second wife was and who their children were but I am thinking we have too little information to work this out?

Thanks again

Roy
