St Augstein Broxbourne MIs
« on: Friday 21 April 23 13:19 BST (UK) »
I’m trying to locate the MIs from St Augstein Broxbourne.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Alternatively, if anyone happens to have the transcriptions I would be grateful for a lookup. If a headstone is still standing, a photo would be wonderful.

I have records of two burials with dates supposedly taken from the MIs. The first burial is Ann Humphreys in 1862 and the second is her husband William Humphreys in 1880.

I’ve had a reasonable look online but haven’t found mention of any MIs for St Augstein.

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any Humphrey headstones at St Augstein Broxbourne

130 headstones have been mentioned on Find a Grave but these may have been privately transcribed. Probably many more than just those few.

It might be worth an email to Herts Family History Group as they have transcribed many cemetery records.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions buttons.

Emeltom, the burials noted on FindMyPast …. what are the “images” exactly?

I am curious to know if there is a headstone still standing, what it looks like and what the inscription says.

I might have to try the Herts Family History group or maybe a “friends of” the church group if one exists.

Thanks both.
