Help deciphering WW2 service records plz!!
« on: Friday 21 April 23 16:59 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me decipher and understand some of the words and abbreviations on my Grandads Service Records for WW2?

I am particularly interested in understanding the units etc he was a part of and the roles he played within them / what they did during the war as I can only understand that he began in the 205th Heavy Anti Aircraft Training Regiment for the Royal Artillery but can also see he was transferred to P.C?

If it’s any help he was enlisted in Cardiff in 1942 and discharged in 1944 in somewhere I cannot decipher that you will see on the second image.

Any help and guidance would be so appreciated and received graciously!

Thanks in advance!

Second image is Bournemouth.

I have no idea what PC refers to; however he remains in the Royal Artillery in the rank of gunner. I'm not sure if you are aware that the entries from 27/8/43 onwards are all disciplinary, forfeiting several day's pay (f pay), being confined to barracks (CB) etc.
