Link to 1880 birth of Richard for reference-

Newtown townland in the civil parish of Bannow (Bannow E. D.)

Can't see a pre-1880 marriage at the moment - can anyone?

... First Child Richard Was born 18 Jan.1880 • Newtown,Taghmon,Co.Wexford

I can see the subsequent children to this couple but more importantly, as far as the timing of a marriage goes, the following looks like an earlier child, Catherine born at Newtown two years before Richard:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1878/02974/2089672.pdf

The baptismal record for Catherine has a later comment to say that she married an Edward Kavanagh in 1910 ... (top of left page):
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000634130#page/32/mode/1up

... but the relevant 1910 civil marriage registration (below) shows a different father for the bride, so I'm thinking that the comment on Catherine's baptismal record is incorrect:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1910/09975/5626998.pdf

Instead, this might be her marrying a Michael Dooley in 1904:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1904/10218/5719774.pdf

Possibly Michael and Catherine Dooley and family in 1911?

A bit of an aside here - you may already have this:
There are various newspaper snippets, the Wexford People,  - 1885 - 1888 re Martin Nolan, an evicted tenant of Newtown.
The person evicting him is named as Richard/ Grabber Wickham his brother in law.
The 1888 snippet mentions oats being auctioned by Martin Nolan, Newton and the earlier ones the eviction.

There is a marriage, 1867, Richard Wickham and Mary Nolan, father Richard Nolan of Newton.

The records posted already are from Newtown, Wexford but you have Freshford, Kilkenny. Which records do you have for Freshford?

Added
Apologies - I see Catherine Nolan Dooley is in Freshford.

On the marriage certificate it shows that Katie Nolan's father, Martin is deceased.  This is at 31/10/1904.

On the 1901 census there is a Martin Nolan, widower, aged 60 living with his sister in law at Outrath.

Perhaps the OP could give us the dates of death for Martin Nolan and Ann Eliza  Nolan so that we have all the information and don't need to search to try to put togther the family.  This will enable us to concentrate on finding the marriage.

That’s sensible, shanreagh.  :)

However, may I just post this (possible) death for Ann Eliza - residence Harpurstown/Harperstown

There is also this marriage but as shanreagh points out we need more information from Cathy.

Martin Nolan - widower.

I have some reservations about it but I thought I would offer it anyway.  ;)
