addition to 1939 Register record

Anyone help deciphering this please?
Looks like condropolous   ;D

Who did she marry?  Usually the later married name shows that way.  That one looks like Condropolous??

She married Peter Cardropolous in Durham in Sep 1/4 of 1960.

I don't know if she did marry. She was born in 1907 and living with her parents in 1939. She was a teacher and I know they couldn't teach once they were married .
I've looked at the GRO and there isn't a  marriage record for Hunter and Condropolous .
There's a note in the address column

I didn't search that far ahead with just her name , and I was searching with Condropolous .

So that amendment date is 7/4/61.

It would appear that the 1939 correction is the correct spelling, and the marriage index not so much..

At Ancestry there is an entry in the  Netherlands, Birth Index 1784-1921  for Panyotti Condropolous, 1908, Rotterdam; father Michael Condropolous; mother Mary Jane Quigley.

This matches with the 1921 census entry for the Condropolous family living at 4, Red Hill Terrace, Durham.

Added: that was a little cryptic – Panyotti is Peter.
