The two versions that I found at newspapers.com are nearly identical. This is The Cornishman Nov 8, 1888.

Quote
DAVIES-WAKEHAM.–Nov 1, at Liskeard, Mr William Davies to Miss Margaret Ann Wakeham, both of Liskeard.

Thanks for all the additions, I have found the journey quite fascinating.   The variants make it slow going.

Get a copy of the death certificate it will show who reported the death.
It would be confirmation.
I think you can get a PDF copy less expensive than a certified copy.

Re; reply #2 The cemetery in Liskeard

Also buried in the same place as Isaac and Elizabeth is Sarah Ann Wakeham 1878-7 May 1940

Newspaper

7 May 1940, 10 Barn? Street, Sarah beloved wife of Joseph Wakeham aged 62

This is Isaac and Trelitha's (aka Eliza/Elizabeth) son.

**If you get Elizabeth's death certificate  November 1912 as well  you can see who reported her death and confirm that over time changed her name to Eliza/Elizabeth.

--------------------
You probably already know this.
Trelitha had a sister Suduba bap. 29 May 1831 and a brother Seth bap 22 April 1832

Her father Seth's first wife Margaret is buried 10 December 1834 Breage Cornwall.

Dunn family. In case you are interested.

There is a tree on ancestry that only includes Seth Dunn and his second wife Mary nee Jose marriage registered 1837 Truro

They have most of the children but are missing a few facts apart from his first marriage.

Children from second marriage, all with mothers maiden name Jose Ref: GRO Index
Mary   reg Truro 1838
Enos 1839  reg  Truro bap. Enos James died 1842 - buried 25 July 1842 age 3 (reg. Truro)

Re; reply #2 The cemetery in Liskeard
Thank you so much for the continued delving.
Unless Isaac remarried someone called Eliza/Elizabeth after circa 1881, then they must be Trelitha.  Her sister recorded as Sabuda is my ancestress, known more often as Zebudah and migrated to Australia.  Trelitha seems to have had a few children I can't for, including a daughter Eliza Jane born in 1865 and described on the 1871 census as an "imbecile from birth" but missing from the 1881 census return.

Did the child named Seth from his first marriage die?

Mmmm, as far as I'm aware, the first Seth lived on until 1902!
